My dealer mentioned the other day that a company in Belgium was offering (or, more likely, going to offer) a service where they can create a BV10/BV11/A8/A9 fret in any colour. This would, as an example, allow a BV10 customer to get a fret in the same green as the A9 or a BV11 owner to get an orange fret in the BV10 orange (which has been discontinued for the BV11 due to poor demand).

No idea how they are going to do this. Maybe they just take the white fret and dye it? :)

Anyone know anything about this company or offer?

Well, my dealer mentioned it in passing, whilst talking to another customer. So I've not had chance to confirm. I was in there buying the green BS8/A8 frets on Friday and moaned that the green fret wasn't available for the BV10 and he said there's a Belgium company planning to offer custom frets for the BV10/BV11 which would allow a BV10 user to have a green fret. I guessed they'd take the white one and dye it or something. There will be a premium though, don't forget - you'd have to account for the white fret and the colouring process.

But my question is, does anyone know anything about this? If not, I'll have to wait until I'm over at my dealer, sometime next week.
