Buzzing noise when turning on Beomaster 3000-2

Hi everyone :) 

My mother-in-law has a Beomaster 3000-2, and she has troubles getting it to work properly. 

I tried turning it on, but all that happens is that it produces this loud buzzing. Here is a video of the problem:

I am a novice when it comes to B&O, but promised to try and help her out. She seems even more out of her depth than I do. Hope some of you can point me towards a solution!
