Why not upgrade 4000 linear tracking turntable- the most beautiful turntable ever https://www.beoworld.org/article_view.asp?id=43. ? Vinyl revival.
With the growth of home TV/Sound systems, most of which are quite inadequate, ugly and un-integrated, why not produce a prestige/dream B+O system with a new linear TT, a play system that has CD, tape (yes, tape), AM, FM, Digital radio, flash drives, and an amp + speakers system that can do justice to, say, Dolby 7.1.?
the tech/audio journalists would go crazy over it, with maximum media coverage. Time for B+O to lead.
Speaking of leading, since boom boxes died, there is an empty niche waiting to be filled by a fairly inexpensive portable player, incorporating CD, tape playback and recording, AM-FM-DAB+ digital radio, streaming window showing what's playing, and a clock and calendar.
