I HAVE INHERITED A  BEOVISION 7-40 IN PERFECT CONDITION FROM MY SON-IN-LAW.

IT HAS HAD LITTLE USE AND IN PEREFCT VIEWING CONDITION.

THE BEO4 HANDSET IS NOW AOK AFTER REPLACING THE PIXELATED SCREEN, BUT THE BEO5 IS AS DEAD AS A DODO. IT DOES NOT CHARGE OR SWITCH ON, AND WITH A DEAD SCREEN.

ASSUMING ITS THE BATTERY (IT HASEN'T BEEN USED FOR YEARS), HOWEVER THE BATTERY SHOWS 1.35V.

WHAT IS THE LIKELY PROBLEM, A DYING BATTERY OR DEAD CHARGER (OR OTHER)

THANKS IN ANTICIPATION.

If the Beo5  has not been used for years I would say it is most  probably a dead battery.
