Beocenter 9500 Tape mk2 return to mk1 ?

Hello dear B&O community,

as my headline says, I would like to know if a

Tape version 2 on tape version 1 is possible with the Beocenter 9500?

Hello Martin ,

Thank you for your answer ... but isn't it the case that the exchange from MK1 to MK2 is possible without further changes? I would have thought that swapping MK2 to MK1 would be just as easy?

I have 2 9500's. On one of them, the tape mechanism is held together with a plastic frame that crumbled. It appears that the frame and mechanism are common with the Beocord 5500 (I think it is the 5500). So if that is your issue, you may be able to find a donor unit.

Thank you for the information ... in my personal opinion the Tape MK1 is the "better" Tapedrive for the Beocenter 9500.
