Hello,

I have a problem to connect my Beosystem 7000 to my Beovision 11-46 (no/faint sound).

my current setup:

beosystem (Beomaster,Beocord, Beogram, Beogram cd) + Beovision 11-46 + Beolab 20 (wired) + Beolab 18 (Wisa). The speakers are all connected to the Beovision. Controller is Beolink 5000

The Beosystem is connected through a aux/din cable bought at Soundsheavenly.

On the tv the ‘Av’ input is selected but the signal is very weak. I have to cranck up the volume of both bm & bv  before I can hear a weak sound signal. Remarkable is that when I put the Beomaster into standby is that I shortly (1 second or so) have a normal volume output. At the moment I use the headphone jack but now I have a good right signal but a very faint left signal.

In the past I had the same problem and some trial and error with the sound options (option 0,1,2,...) solved the problem. Today I can’t replicate what I did. To be honest I don.t have the best relationship with my local dealer ans Bang&Olufsen online doesn’t seem interested in solving this problem (please contact your dealer...).

I hope one of you guys/girls have the magic solution. This is driving me nuts.

kind regards

Did you consider getting a ML/NL Beolink Converter plus Audio Link Converter 1611? I used this to drive a Beosystem 7000 with a Beosystem 4 (basically the heart of a BeoVision 11)?

Used this will cost you around 400 €...

I bought this cable.

https://soundsheavenly.com/tv-input/138-2295-9-pin-av-cable-for-beovision-11-12-new-generation-avant-v1-and-beosystem-4-powerlink-input.html#/4-length-3m

After some creative thinking I found a solution by using one of the powerlink outputs. Steve confirmed me that this was a good solution (quality and reliability). Although I only bought this cable in Steve’s shop he always replied very fast, top notch service.

After years of Spotify and (unreliable) Wisa I now enjoy high quality sound. What a difference!

have to leave you boys/girls, my Beosystem is calling me ;-)

p.s.: using powerlink has a small disadvantage, the volume is not at a fixed level. No worries could be worse.
