I am restoring a sad and forlorn 5500 system.
It is clear amnogst many of the problems across all units other than the amp that the existing CDM2/29 mechanism iin the cd5500 is beyond hope/repair. Is the CDM2/29 the only CDM that i can use or were other mechanisms used in the CD5500?
Any links to relevant articles or posts would be appreciated - i have searched but no mention of csm2/29

Are you positive that the CDM is worn? Says who ?
