I just bought a Beovision 10 second hand. I am so happy I went this way instead of buying a new Samsung or something else. The TV is spectacular.

I have read the manual some times, and there are some questions, hopefully someone here can help:

1.  There should be an initial setup process, but when I started it up after the wall installation process, no such setup was there. Is there a way to reach this menu now?

2. The brilliance seem high. But when going in to the menu, picture settings is grayed out and there is no way to go in to that menu, anyone who knows what I am doing wrong? Is it because I only use it with the Apple TV?

3. There should be an USB slot, however I can’t find it. It says “service use only” in manual. Therefor guessing I can’t use a chromecast which is powered through USB?

many thanks in advance!

What do you want to set up?

If you select menu on the remote you will reach the settings for eg channels, sound etc.

There should be an initial setup process where you set distant to speakers etc. These settings are not visible from the standard menu.

Whilst the previous answer is correct, I think you are looking for the "Reset to Factory Settings"

You can do this from the Service Menu and the following parameters are affected, when the device is reset:
- Option is programmed to 1.
- AV1, AV2, AV3 are configured as NONE.
- Volume preset is configured to default.
- Bass, treble and balance are configured to default.
- Brightness, contrast and colour adjustments are configured to default.
- Stored TV and Radio programs are deleted.
- First install menu will be shown next time the device is switched on.
- Menu language English.
- Light sense on.
- Loudness off.

The reset to factory settings command is activated directly when the menu is highlighted.
If the menu item RESET TO FACTORY SET. is selected, and GO is pressed, the reset is carried out.

The Service Menu must be activated while the TV SETUP menu is displayed.

Using a Beo4 remote, the Service Menu is activated by pressing 0 0 GO within 3 seconds

Nice answer Keith and very helpful for the poster. Thumbs Up

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
