hi Pals ! this is my first post here , i have bought a beosystem/ beolab 2500 while living in the US and since i moved to Europe i have to use it with a 120/220 volt transformer .....

i would like to convert it to 220v , as a matter of fact , convert the beosystem is very straight forward , but the beolabs are a different story ....found several 220 schematics on the web , but no 120 v ones to compare  ....

anybody has the 120volt beolab 2500 schematics or at least a 220 volt power pc board picture ?

thank you very much !

Rick

normally you can be a gold, or silver member, download it directly from the beoworld user and service manuals.

Unfortunately I cannot find a service manual for the Beosystem / Beolab 2500 here.

Therefore here is the required information as a picture

Thank you for your prompt answer , do you know what diodes and what voltage capacitor does the 220v circuit use?

Have you got a components list?

thank you!!

just managed to convert it to 220 yesterday thanks to W Frankenberg`s schematics and some ebay pics , very straightforward procedure , anyone that needs to convert the beosystem /beolab2500 , feel free to email me , i will guide you through the process , it is very simple and involves just 2x 1000uf x 10 volt capacitors and 4 x 1n4002/7 diodes , although not really needed .....
