Hello all, I have a Synology nas drive connected to my BeoVision 11 purely for streaming music. . The issue I have is that intermittently the track will stop and I have to go back in to homeedia and press play again. It always starts at the beginning of the track that cut off and not from the beginning of the album.  The nas is connected via a Ethernet cable and it can play for 20 mins or 2 hours before it happens. It also happens occasionally on net radio but not on internet radio.
I also stream to another room wirelessly to another device and it plays fine, no problem at all.
can anyone shine a light on this?.

regards

I guess the software handling the DLNA has not been updated for ages on the BV11. If you have another modern B&O device with net link you can integrate with that device and play from your NAS that way.

the Homemedia app in my BV11 still works fine with all DLNA servers I present to the app. So presumably another issue.

addition: emminent updates on my server PC (Windows, Java, etc) can interrup the stream though, but never stops it. The same when the router is or seems to be stuck; just reboot. Both happens once a half year at max.

The last update on my BV 11 was 2017. It only stops when playing music and when the curtains are closed. It can play for minutes or hours before it stops. Net radio Nas, and CD player (Sony) are the music sources that I use.
