Hi All

I only see old threads related to chromecast, so starting a new one here. My chomecast on my newly purchased M5, have never been super stable. Sometimes disappearing from my speaker groups, and I've never been able to add it to other speakers already playing.

2 weeks ago, I had more serious problems as none of my apps could see it as online. Going in the settings of the speaker via the app, I see a lot critical incidents related to cast "Autentication server unreachable, stopping cast"

When I perform a restart, it pops up for a minute, but after 4 of the above incidents, it remain offline to all apps. Needless to say, this problem is not existing on my 7 other speakers from Google/JBL.

I can still play via spotify connect, Airplay 2 and bluetooth, but nevertheless, as all my home is filled with cast devices, and I always talk to my google assistant to get music, this brings very little comfort.

A ticket has been raised to B&O, and they say they have problems with ASE1 and ASETK Platform (whatever that is?) , so I'm interested in hearing if anyone else have problems, if this is server wide. They are "working hard" as the mail says, but all I'm hearing is they have no idea when this is solved, which have reduced my M5 to a somewhat expensive sculpture.

Reset the chromecast device and connect it to 2.4 GHz network. Avoid 5 GHz.

Connect your phone(s), tablet(s) to the very same 2.4 GHz network.

Having google wifi mesh, this is unfortunately not an option. Did try with an old router I had lying around, but the issue persisted. Awaiting firmware update from B&O, as this is indeed server wide at discussed on the other thread linked in this thread.
