Hello,
I'm trying to save a Beosound Century / 2000 with a problem.
When I plug it in I hear a soft clic, wich is normal I guess, the door opens and closes as it should but thats all!?
No buttons light up, no standby light, nothing.
I checked the wiring inside starting with the keybaord/display pcb and microprocessor pcb and power pcb, every connector shows current on my multi meter. I even replaced the keybaord with pcb with an ebay version. No luck. I can't find a replacement microprocessor to try
Does anyone knows where I should look??
Thanks very much, I hope someone will help me..
Regards, Stephan
Hi,
There are one fuse located on the Mains board and eight on the Power Supply board, start with checking them all.

Thanks /Pindsen,
I checked all the fuses without any luck
Interesting, i'll vheck this soon. As this device also stopped working after moving to an other house.
Updates
I bought a second century with the same software version 1.3.
With the remote Beo 1000 the defective century works!
I switched the pcb 3 with the microprocessor from the other working century and voila! It works!
If there's anybody with a spare pcb3 sw.1.3 than please let me know!
Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions.
