Hi,

The service manual error tree diagram instructed to pull out the connectors between PCB34 and other acessories and I did that. Standby led does not lit. The two fuses are ok in PCB34 and the one in PCB5. Relay does not operate on PCB5 when power is connected. TR17 is changed and seems to be ok on PCB34 (someone on this forum fixed power supply problem by changing that transistor).

I know that I should debug the power supply board down to component level, but I just don't have the capability to do that. So I have to ask has anyone extra working power supply PCB34 board for Beosound 9000 laying somewhere or an advice how to proceed from this point?

P.S.  I am located in Finland so I guess I need the European version of the supply board.

Hi, good news - I now have used "new" PCB34 (power supply / CPU board).

After reading the service manual I understood that I have to exchange the EEPROM from the old CPU board to the new one. Now I have these questions. I would appreciate any help from forum.

1. Which IC is that - the one in the low right corner of the CPU board?

2. What else I have to do to make sure the new power supply works? Replace the IC in the up left corner (propably the software for microporcessor)?
