A9 mkII and beo4 remote

Hi

is it possible to use the beo4 Remote with the A9 mk2? Just volume control would be nice when I use my beosound 4 

I tried to set A.OPT to 5 but this didn’t help. 

any ideas?

It is not possible as the A9 2nd Gen has no IR. You need a Beoremote One, Essence or Halo.
