I got a Beogram RX 2 a while ago from Ebay. When playing music there's a scraping sound which seem to be connected to the platter scraping on something. Looking at the platter from the side it looks like its lower on the right side.
The suspension locks and transport locks should be unlocked and I've tried to adjust the leaf springs that I can access, and I think that improved the scraping a little. There's still some scraping going on however. I haven't been able to adjust the leaf spring on the right side under the top plate and was wondering how to remove the top plate? To see if that would solve it. Or is there any other things I should look at?
