So the Beoplay H8i is no more,
And no surprise as it was quit an old model.
But a bit surprising that they now dont have any on ear headphones.
They have cleaned up the headphone selection a lot.
The Beoplay HX should soon be ready, The gaming Headset Beoplay Portal is still not released and have been rumoured for over a year now.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence

I'm still using my H8 originals
I was lucky to trial a set of H95 recently and they are better being over the ear rather than on. They are quicker to connect from the PC (work laptop) for calls, then my MacBook Pro and iphone. they really surprised me how quick they were to pick up, etc
I chose the H8 because of the noise cancelling so i can use them when i'm sitting on the mower, the materials, the battery you could swap out, and you could use them passively, eg with the audio cable and powered off (how i use them most of the time). Back then there was either the on ear H8 or over the ear H9 (both with beautiful materials), and i chose the 'cheaper' H8.
The one problem i have with over the head headphones is that when you walk i get feedback or little noises from when i walk, so i can't wear them in the street and just wear the earpods for that, running and gym.
Things are moving at a huge pace in the headphone market, and also at B&O. When i look at the latest offerings from when I got them, they are now more sophisticated technically and have better connections, so i'm not surprised they will discontinue models and reintroduce other models, perhaps more 'high end' again.
