Hello everybody,

I am thinking to buy new B&O products for my new flat and I was wondering which solution is the best to stream my turntable.

For now, I have a Planar 2 turntable, plugged to my Beoplay a9 mk4.
I want to buy a Beovision Harmony and I was wondering if I plugged my turntable via line in to the TV, if I could stream at the same time the sound to my beoplay a9? And maybe to another B&O speaker?

If it’s not possible, is there any solution to listen my turntable through more than 1 B&O system at the same time?

Thanks a lot for your advice.

Kind regards.

Hi,

i have my rega turntable on the core line in. I can hear the sound via mulitiroom on the bs 9000 with bl 18 or on my A9 in the other room or on the stage in my contour or at all together if I want. No problem

I can confirm this setting.

I use a BG6000 Line-in connected to a Harmony. The music can be NL distributed.

Turntables are analog - wouldn't digital streaming defeat the whole purpose of listening to vinyl?

I has a Como Audio record player with Bluetooth streaming. (A rebranded Pro-Ject player)

In addition to listen to vinyl on my Pentas, I could also stream music to my M3 (or was it M5 at the time) and to my H9i’s. The sound was very good.

I do get your point of vinyl being analogue tho.

I think it’s important to remember that not all vinyl people are audiophiles, but they just enjoy the media.

I was at a thrift shop yesterday looking for Eminem’s first album on CD. Next to me was two kids (10-13 years old maybe), wearing the same clothes I did in the 90’s, and they wear browsing CD’s. I smiled for myself in I was so happy that in this day of Spotify and Netflix, they have the experience of discovering music together Smile
