Are there lead weights in an 11-55 and can they be removed for wall mounting? And if so, how?

I guess you just mean it´s heavy. Moved my Avant 55 and is amazed about how such a thin piece can be so heavy.

I was once told they had some weights at the bottom to stop the frame vibrating/resonating etc.
