Hi all
I have a full beosystem 5500 and very happy with it. My beocord 5500 was fine but recently started to change its speed randomly and very slightly. It is noticeable though
I fitted new belt and the problem was not the belt. Suspect it is the motor? Or its supply? Any thoughts?
Cheers

Correct belt or Ebay?Clean and lubricate tape reels and motor bearings, and, if present in your drive version, the small idler wheel at the extreme corner of the drive.

Thanks for your reply Martin
I actually bought it off an online shop located in Portugal. the seller Also does sell on Ebay.
I cleaned the rollers, and lubricated the motor shaft paying attention not to lubricate where the belt sits. The problem did reduce a bit for an hour but then it is back. I am not sure how the belt can cause this (veryu curious) but anyways will purchase one from your shop and see how it goes.
