Hello , new guy here.
I have a beocord 6000 with a cracked pinch roller assembly. Any chance of obtaining a new one? Attached is a pic.

The rubber roller actually moves instead of being stationary. I have attached a small bit of 28 gauge wire around the base and a nearby plastic post. Seems to do the trick for now. Maybe some glue will be enough to keep it solid?
Another quick question.... The unit had a few issues being the play function was quite weak, but a good cleaning of the pinch roller has cured that problem, now the fast forward seems very weak? No issues on rewind. Belt?
Isn't that the capstan bearing holder?
PM or email me.

Yes! The rubber roller attached on the shaft!

Thanks again for the parts! I've installed both belts as well as the new bearing holder, but now for some reason the play mechanism doesn't want to stay engaged? Any advice on what to check?
Is the motor running?
The motor is running. Ffw is not wanting to go either. I have tested without the cassette in, just pressing on the sensor to activate. I'm guessing I must have reassembled some wrong?
Can you tell, if the reel tables rotate, even if only very little, every time you press play (tape inserted)?
The reels turn just slightly before the unit stops
Check leads for the travel sensor. Check travel sensor distance to magnet on reel table. Check solder joints for the socket where the large white plug goes.
Ok, I checked the solder joints, reflowed while I was there. No change.
I notice that it's only the drive wheel that's turning? The take-up wheel isn't working? The pinch roller is in great shape and the rubber tires are looking very good still. I'm not familiar with the travel distance magnet? Does it specify any specs in the service manual?
It seems as if the take up reel is very stiff? If I manually turn that reel while play is engaged the unit keeps going... Once I stop the reel quits and the unit shuts off
Brake arm bent on the flange of the right reel table - or on the wrong side of the flange?
Travel sensor (Black component on small PCB at the underside of the drive too close (touching) the round reel table magnet?
Brakes seem to travel the same equally on both reels..
The magnet has a small gap I can see through and not touching on either side? I did notice the black mounting stand for the plate with PCB attached, was cracked and slightly bent to one side. Attempting to straighten this just broke it off the screw thru the bottom. Assuming I can find another post to use ,would this have any affect on the take up reel?

I tried a drop of glue....
The glue seems to have held....
My previous issue was a bent brake pad. I straightened it and reassembled with that brake on the inside of the hub. Now my issue is a ticking noise coming from the clutch assembly while the unit is in play mode?
Ok... I reset the clutch and no more ticking. Now...
All seems pretty good except for rewind. Very weak and sluggish. I hope this is the last quirk, seems like everytime I figure out one issue another pops up!
Did you replace the rubber on the idler wheels? All of these decks will need it by now, if not already done.
I never did replace the wheels, I did give them a treatment of rubber renue. The pinch roller looks to be in very nice shape. The idler tires and such I'm not sure about.
Ok, I received the new tires and the unit is now working top notch! Thank you for everything!
