Beoplay H95 with DAC

Hey Guys,

I have just received my H95 today and have been trying to make it to work with my usual Fiio DAC while the headphones are turned off to not use the internal DAC,

 

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it work sound only start to work when I turned them on which I didn't face before with my H9s,

 

Did anyone faced similar issue and found a way to solve it?

They only work when they are on.

So there is much less of a reason to use a DAC with the H95s?

 

As if they have to be turned on it's not really possible to bypass the internal amp
