This is the second Archived Forum which was active between 1st March 2012 and 23rd February 2022
I have two of these units in both with the same fault.
The first unit I replaced the electrolytics and the two presets,
I then changed both the 33uF (fitting a 47uf) capacitor and the 1uF capacitor but it made no difference
a friend of mine then opened the microprocessor can and replaced the Xtal.
We haven't touched the second one.
Is this down to the microprocessor chips themselves failing or is there something that we've overlooked.
Your help would be appreciated.
