Hello everybody.

Hope to get some help from you technical specialists

I´ve got a Beocenter 2 wich seems to power up normal wit a steady red LED

The Door can be opened and closed with the LOAD Button, the Clamper comes out as usual and can be closed wit the LOAD Button.

The other Buttons on the Headunit give a response through a flashing LED but nothing happens, no Display, no Sound no spinning of CD.

With a Beolink 4 I´ve got access to the Service Manual wich shows following Errors:

Maybe someone has an Idea what this Error causes.

I´ve already changed the connectioncable, nothing different.

Is there a note wich says if the Headunit or the Floorunit is defective?

Thanks for your help

Best Regards

Christian

.Upgrade to silver or gold and download the Mk2 service manual (bottom left link on the service page.... not the User manual).

Part 1 lists a lot of error messages (half of which are identified as 'Not Error'!)

There are other parts to the service manual... concerning dismantling and replacing parts. Hopefully another member has had your exact experience and can suggest a solution. My BC2 works OK except for sometimes switching itself back on just after being switched off using the red button.

Hi Graham

Thanks for you sugestions.

I've already the Service Manual but no clue to figure out what these Error Codes  mean.

I do not realy know what "MLSL" Status means so I have no Idea where to search for a defektive PCB.

In the Socket Unit or in the Master Unit.

I think the uP is in the Socket Unit and I have to look there.

Best Regards

Hi Christian,

were you able to get down to what was wrong with your beocenter 2? Is it working now?
