Damn that's nice but it's too young, cutting edge and innovative for B&O. Just look at that awful BS5 and it's price - after seeing one again yesterday in Selfridges, the iPad has a far nicer display.
BV11 looked great but what an AWFUL atmosphere at the Selfridges B&O stand yesterday - snooty, old shop assistants that portrayed the most boring image and unfriendly! I took some friends there yesterday and my friends just laughed and walked on. Sad thing is they were B&O target market customers - early 30s, 50K+ income etc.
I think bno need a radical overhaul , they should just ditch all their crappy attempts at out apple-ing apple and do what they're best at
Yes, I kind of agree with you Flappo, certainly after visiting a few B&O places in the Capital yesterday, the designs that made the most sense to me were the BV11 which as I mentioned looked outstanding, the BL3s looked great still and the A8 dock still looks super. We were all horrified with the A9 - I actually wanted to kick it, it was so just plain stupid and the BS5 was prehistoric, how B&O dare charge that price to an unsuspecting few, I don't know.
Well , it does look like a kick drum after all
Hi Benoit,
Looks great, thanks for posting.
very nice
There was a rumour that B&O also comes with a new sound system.....anyone?
koning: very nice There was a rumour that B&O also comes with a new sound system.....anyone?
I really question if there is a role for a traditional sound system.
If I am an example of the changing consumer then I can CDs and DVDs disappearing .... I went into a discount HiFi and AV store yesterday with an eye to buying Christmas stocking stuffers ... and I after had done a tour of the aisles of DVDs and BRs, and rummaged through the bins of CDs for $1, $5 etc I came to realise there was nothing there for me or for the people I wanted to give presents too.
So now I am thinking of giving people a year's subscription to a premium Spotify account, or some iTunes cards, or an Apple TV black box.
