Hi All

I'm considering a 1st gen pair of Beolab 5's.

I have a bit of a mixed system and I hope someone can help with some connectivity guidance

ANALOG SOURCE - Project RMP5 and Project Valve Phono stage

DIGITAL SOURCES - BEOSOUND 5 (coaxial digital out) / CD Player (optical digital out)  Ipad for streaming which is connected via USB to cambridge audio DAC.

Currently all digital sources are going via a cambridge audio DAC.

How does this all come together and keep all the digital signals digital alll the way to the beolab 5's to let them do the decoding.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Harry,

When one of the sources s a B&O music system, this should be the only one that connects directly to the Beolab 5 speakers (in your case the Beosound 5 - is this the Encore or the "full" version with Beomaster 5 please?)

The other sources should then connect via the B&O system.  This prevents remote control conflicts when changing sources.

Please feel free to get in touch via my sponsor link below if you need any help with connections and I can help further.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
