The silver cover has come off my 7.2 Beolab Soundbar which is attached to my 7-40 tv and I cannot get it back on.

As i understand the covers slide on and off from the side, but as it was knocked off by mistake by a decorator it seems some of the lugs may have broken and when I tried to slide it back it just fell off.

Also a couple of pieces in the middle of the speaker and underneath the grey cloth were loose.

I am reluctant to glue(super glue if possible) but if anyone has a better idea or solution I would appreciate a reply. If no ideas what would be the best way to glue it?

Thanks

T

You can get new lugs on ebay..

Thanks for your reply but I could not find anything on ebay. There are plenty of speaker lugs of different types but the problem is not related to speakers but attaching the grille and there  are no lugs that I could see that would do the job.

Try with some ‘Black Tack’ (search Amazon or eBay)

That way you can remove it again rather than glue it..
