Am I missing something or is it no longer possible to save favorite stations in the TUNEIN section of the latest Test Flight for B&O?

Same here. Very annoying!

In the configuration Favourites is activated but doesn’t show.

I now have a B&O Radio tab as well as TuneIn, but it’s useless without a Mozart product.

Playing around with the “Personalize” menu causes the app to crash. So I assume still work in progress.

I have reported it via the TestFlight feedback.

I encourage you to do the same if not done yet.

Same problem when I select Emerge.

No stations available.

When I press “show all” under popular stations the app crashes.

I find it strange, that B&O-RADIO can be selected, when it is not supported by the product (Beoplay M5).

Please integrate a Sleep-Timer (30, 60, 90min) button in the menu……It would be easier than always adapting the alarm time to the bedtime…

As well as a way to deactivate/activate an alarm directly from the app UI instead of having to go to the device numerous configuration screens for that simple action.

This issue is as far as I know limited to the beta app. It is really expected that there are issues with the beta app, that's exactly why there is a beta version.

It’s just that MrAndersson said that they would look into this the first thing this Monday. It’s quite a big error even in a beta release.

While under construction,

It would be nice to display the radio page according to what is supported by the product itself instead of defaulting to B&O radio, should be as easy to code than selecting the appropriate product image.

@ Mr Andersen- also I cannot start tunein stations from BO app on Essence MK1….only way to listen is to start tunein on iphone and stream to Essence 😔

Any way to fix this?

I do not heave a Mozart product yet to test B&O Radio but from the interface I see in the app it seems that a few additional functionalities would be required to get on par with TuneIn:

  • It seems you can only have 4 favourites mapped to the MyButtons. It would be nice to be able to manage favourites like in TuneIn where you can edit the order and map them to the number keys on the BeoRemote One.
  • In TuneIn you can manually add custom URLs for streaming of stations that are not directly available on TuneIn. I don't think B&O Radio provides this function?
  • In TuneIn you can check the bitrate of the stream, which can be useful from time to time.

If these functionalities can be supported the only remaining plus of TuneIn would be integration with other products. In general, I think it would be nice to have TuneIn on Mozart and B&O Radio on the other products. Not sure how feasible that is however.

Didn’t work for me either until I “personalised” the Radio menu. Then the favourites reappeared.

Not sure where you do that…

There is a setting where you can toggle eg favourites on / off but It did not help.

Yes, this where I toggled one of the fields off and then back on. The favourites then appeared.

Yep, to see the favorite you must turn all the other options ON …. Another issue to be fixed by B&O

You must close the app (swipe up in IOS) for the change to be effective (another bug)

The only thing that helped me, was to toggle on ALL 4 categories.

Usually I only have the first = Favourites set to on (that is what I need).

Afterwards you can toggle off those that you don’t need….and the Favourites appear Lets have a Party !!!

Not very intuitive, but it worked.

I have a few stations there, which I don’t know about and why they are there.

They can not be started. Funnily I can search for stations there.

I wonder what that might be - probably still something unfinished.

N.B. I have no Mozart products (yet).

TuneIn favorites should be exposed like other groups, I.e. a sliding bar that you can turn into a list to see more.

Despite the fact that selecting all radio options makes TuneIn favorite visible, tapping on radio tiles does not start anything. I wonder if the dev team have a decent testing environment or maybe we are alpha testers ?

Balance: select a tile on B&o radio starts the station. Select TuneIn, response source not available for product.

M3: select a tile no radio, not B&o radio not Tunein. Select a station on TuneIn, and selecting Play now afterwards does start the station..

 

so beta. 

 

edit

removing favorite in TuneIn works on the M3, add TuneIn favorite on M3 works.

Searching station works. Then selecting the tile does start the station.
