when i hook up my beovox 3000s or 5000s to a new external amp, an emotiva, they typically throw the protection circuit at even modest volumes. whats up with that? i want to use them as rear channel speakers but can due to the amp shutting down at movie volumes.
Possibly reducing your total system impedance below what your amp is happy with? Are you sure the speakers are functioning properly? Something shorted in the crossover?
