I brought used Beolab 5's i press the mic calibration button on one for over 3 seconds then let go nothing happens.

Green light flashes the whole time Beolab 5 is switched on and when music is playing.

What could be the fault ?

Just a couple of reminders in case:

- The speaker must be in STANDBY mode in order to calibrate it.

- The amount of pressure on the top “button” can vary. One of mine needs just a touch, the other more of a press.

- I think it takes longer than three seconds. Keep pressing until the light goes red. Try waiting up to 10 seconds.

If the speaker will no longer calibrate itself you should get it checked out by an experienced BL5 repairer.

In standy the light is red so what do you mean by keep pressing until light goes red ?

Sorry - I should have said “starts flashing red”.
