In our family summer house we have a Beosound 2300 system which my parents had for many years allready. It still plays good old FM radio and some CD's we have laying around. With a pair of BeoLab 2500 connected.

However it would be great if we could simply add spotify streaming to it. I could hook up a Core but was wondering if there are any cheaper options? We also have a Beo4 to control the thing :)

I came across this device, https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Bluetooth-Multiroom-Multizone-S50-Pro/dp/B083XY1R5M?th=1 but not sure how to connect it ?

I guess I found out myself :) I can use the AUX 8 PIN input on the Beosound. I can buy a Minijack to Aux in cable and connect that to any streamer.

I probably will buy a Yamaha WXAD 10 streamer ( https://nl.yamaha.com/nl/products/audio_visual/accessories/wxad-10/index.html ) and hook that up to the Beosound.

then switch to AUX on the Beosound or on the Beo4. Should work :)

Hi,

Yes, I can help!  Please purchase either Apple Airport Express, Google Chromecast Audio, Audiocast M5, Tibo Bond Mini or any Bluetooth receiver for wireless music from your phone to the B&O system (sorry I don't sell these devices, only the cables!)

This cable will allow you to connect any of the devices listed above to the Aux socket on the back of your B&O system:-

https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/67-298-minijack-to-aux-in-ipod-to-beosound-beomaster-beocenter-using-aux-din-socket.html#/2-length-1m

Please set the phone volume to maximum when connecting to the B&O system – this is normal when using a portable music player with a home audio system due to the low output levels produced by the phone.

To listen to the music, simply press "A.Aux" on the B&O keypad, or select this on the B&O remote control by pressing the "LIST" button until the display shows "A.AUX", then pressing "GO".

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
