Unfortunately, the HDD of my BeoMaster 5 broke today. No chance to get it running again. Even externally connected the disc no longer starts up. Of course i've made no backup...
Is there a way to reinstall the system with a new disc? does anyone have an image file? or is it even possible?
No one had this issue or it's just impossible?
The OS should be WinXP Embedded? But where can i get the B&O driver & software? Does anyone have this toll?
Your best bets are as follows:1. Find someone who has a Beomaster 5 service tool
2. Find someone who has a Beomaster 5 and is willing to let you clone their HDD
Thanks it worked!
I bought a working Beomaster 5 & cloned the HDD.
Important: The cloned installation will not work. You need to start the recovery setup & reinstall the System again.
If my beosound 5 would break down today I would not bother get it up and running, rather uograde to a newer digital streaming system...makes more sense today
