Connecting PC to BeoVision7

I have the vga lead connected to the tv, any idea how to select the pc as the source?

Depends on the television

- which range ? e.g. Beovision 8

- which model ? e.g. 40"

 

But in general, you use the Options Menu to select Connections, and then choose a spare AV "port" in your setup, assign a connection to it i.e. in this case the VGA, associate a source name to it i.e. in this case PC, and save the definition of the port

Then configure [PC] to be a soft button on your Beo4, press [LIST] until [PC] appears on the Beo4's display, press (GO), and (hopefully) voila !!

Tried that and still no pc picture. I spoke to B&O technical and they are of the opinion that the problem lies with the resolution of the laptop display (Yes, I have used the function key to enable a 2nd monitor as well).

They advise installing "ultramon" software to resolve the issue...

 

It's a 32" (the menu comes up in the centre of the screen).
