Beoplay S3 what bracket do I need on floor stands?

Hi there,

I have a pair of black Beoplay S3 speakers that have always worked perfectly - feel lucky based on some of the connection issues I read on here...

Anyway - wanted to put them onto floor standing brackets, but can't work out what I need on the stand to fix properly to the speaker?

Can anyone recommend a floor stand or is there a name for the type of fixing required?

The only floor stand I’ve ever found for the S3 is this one from Vebos:

But I’ve never bought one. I’m on the lookout for a nicely designed camera tripod as the threaded socket in the base of the S3 looks similar to a standard camera attachment.

STB Brackets make a wall bracket for the S3, and they include rather interesting little inserts that screw in to the sockets on the base of the S3. Perhaps you could ask STB about it, if you don’t like the Vebos option.

Great info.  

The Vebos looks like a quality stand, but a bit bulky for me.  If I find a work around - like the camera tripod - I’ll let you know.

I think a white or silver color Vebos is not to bulky but I would take a second hand floorstand from Beolab 3 or 4.

 

Create your own metalplate with 3 holes and srews and you have a nice DIY Floorstand for your S3

 

I create my own tablestand for my BeoRemote Essence .... there is only one in this World ....
