Another problem - My Harmony TV when turned on opens but there is no sound from the speakers i.e. the sound centre has disconnected? It is intermittent and can be restored by power cycling the whole system off and on?
This is also connected to my previous question about the BL28 speakers not reconnecting over WiSA.
It really 'feels' like there is either a software conflict or an actual hardware problem?
Has anyone with a Harmony had a similar issue?
Thanks

Thats interesting to know but not great given the expense of a Harmony to start with. I have also had issues with Sky Q interfering with the set up I have - turned off the 5MHz band on Sky Q which helped with the BL28 speaker issue!

Mine has dropped sound on a number of occasions when turning on and watching Sky Q. Power cycle seems to sort it.
A bit embarrassing when you're showing someone your new £17,000 television, but hey...

Thanks for the updates - glad I am not alone! The embarrassment is real for a TV of this value!

Is this not a Sky Q problem?

Sky Q can cause an issue with the WiSA link as it broadcasts its own 5GHz mesh, it should not interfere with the Harmony speakers as these are hard wired from the HDMI Arc from the screen to the Harmony hardware.
What i think we are seeing is that there is something not right within the software (possibly hardware) where on turning the TV on you get no sound from the Harmony speakers - power cycle sorts it which makes me think it may be a deep rooted power saving issue somewhere as mine was fine for 4 months and started failing in December.
Is the Quick start plus in the B&O app side or on the LG side of the menus? maybe there is hope :)

My issue was the same as yours.
I have a Harmony and an external Foxtel STB (same as Sky Q) and also an XBox plugged in to the HDMI of the Sound Centre.
What was happening and it might have been after an update, but it just randomly started where the Sound Centre and the LG is like they are disconnected "handshake issue".
Issue:
The work around was for me (just power cycling the LG screen would cause them to be connected again after start) :
I would complete the work around and then over night when it's like everything goes in to a deep sleep, i would have to repeat it on the first start up of the day
B&O service came out and did a software update but that didn’t do anything
After that B&O service said they would like to come and replace the main board, which I’m hesitant to do at this stage. It's brand new basically!
So i started doing a few tests in between this:
After testing these scenarios and then leaving over night and testing, it come to that if you turn off the Quick Start Plus to off on the LG menu in the LG (not the B&O app nor the Harmony Sound Centre), I don't seem to have the same issue overnight which is what i did before.
I have an LG G1 so it's under the General > Devices > TV Management
I’m monitoring it and will confirm with the service if it in fact works or it might go suddenly again. Other scenarios i will test because it wasn't also happening with the Foxtel box is what happens when i test say starting YouTube from Standby.
You can also reach out to me via private message and I’m happy to hop on a call with you if you want.
Your other issue, there is a setting in the B&O app on the TV whereby it will keep the power to WISA speakers, so also check that setting.
Cheers,
Michael.
Thanks Michael... have unchecked the Quick Start Plus last night... will report back!
The Powered WiSA box on the B&O TV app is checked. At this stage I think the BL28 speaker disconnect issue is related to the Harmony, its almost as though there is a software crash which is causing the Harmony Sound Centre to not connect and then the BL28 speakers to not connect (which of course they cant if the Harmony is not connected)...
Bit of a struggle this one!
