The Beo5/6 remotes can be used to control the new BeoPlay TV... but the apparatus is not available in the ConfigTool.

Anyone knows how to program the Beo5/6 to control BeoPlay TV?

I did some tests with the new config tool. There are some issues of version 5.12 solved, but new have appeared.

With version 6 you can edit macros containing 3rd Party IR commands, which worked in version prior to 5.12

But version 6 generates erroneous XML, which leads to a crash of the tool.

EG1: if you add BeoMedia or BeoMaster and sources N.Music and N.Radio are activated, the source buttons are duplicated.

EG2: If you modify your products after editing your configuration, the tool chrashes on recalculating or validating the modified configuration.

So all in all this version isn't very stable.

I decided to add the BeoPlay products to version 5.12. You can do it this way:

Add the BeoPlay folders to the corresponding folders within the products folders of version 5.12

Then backup the folder "GlobalKeySpecifications" of version 5.12 and replace it by version 6' GlobalKeySpecification.

I've put togehter a ZIP-file containing all files needed to bring BeoPlay products to version 5.12 of the config tool.

Simpy extract the zip file and copy the files contained n the folders to the correspondig folder within the config tools program folder.
