This is the second Archived Forum which was active between 1st March 2012 and 23rd February 2022
Today all my settings (volume, presets etc) went away, and wont store new settings anymore.
Everything else is in good shape. It maintained the clock display on my MCP so I assume that is stored separately. Would there be anything else to deal with besides replacing the battery inside the receiver? I assume there is one in there probably soldered on a board somewhere. If thats the case, does someone know specifically where it is?

EDIT: OK...now after listening to the radio for awhile, the presets have returned and are saved again. Ghosts in the machine? Is there a simple explanation for the temporary loss of settings?
