I have investing in a couple of B & O products, but have trouble getting them to work together.

I bought a Beovision 4 with Beosystem 2 and a Beolab 3500. I have connected Beosystem with BeoLab with a Master Link, and hoped that it just worked together, but it didn´t.

I have searched in various manuals and on various forums, unfortunately without being wiser.

It seems as if there are not at life in the Beolab - however, there is light and time in the display - but no sound.

The TV turns off when pressed on the Mute button on Beolaben, so the Beosystem and the Beolab must be connected ?

The TV shows the picture and channels - but no sound.

In  "Sound" in the TV menu, Beolab 3500 is not an option.

Has it something the  "Options" settings?

I really hope that someone here can come up with a suggestion for a solution - thank you in advance:-)

With the tv on, press "link" followed by "tv".

This send the tv sound to the Beolab 3500, and you can control the sound.

But I think that the Beolab 3500 only can receive analouge sound, not digital.

Press "link" followed by "tv", and you should get the sound into the Beolab 3500.

I think it only accepts analoge signals, not digital.

Hey,

Thank you very much for your answer.

With press "link" I guess you mean "link" at the beo4 (after it has been added to the display) ?

I tried that, and "tv" shows shortly at the display at the beolab, but dissapears again after a few seconds ?

Now, as befor, there are just 2 red dots at the display at the beolab ??

Something wrong with the beolab ?`

Is your tv on when you do this?

I have my BL3500 connected with my BV7 and BS5500. I get all sources to play through the BL3500, except the sound from DTV. I don't remember what option setting I have on the BL3500. Have you tried with opt4 and opt6?

Try also to disconnect all power and master link cables for 5 minutes. Then connect all cables, and then the power cables last. Then do the options settings.
