I've got the BG working, except for 1 issue.
When pushing the LIFT button to start the play sequence, the motor starts turning, but the tonarm does not move towards the LP.
I understand that the little clear plastic tooth lever gets a kick from the relay arm, and that pushes the tooth into the platter axle toothed gear, which starts the whole ball rolling.
That's not happening.
The relay gives the clear tooth lever a good strong kick, but because the magic Cam Lifting wheel did not stop at the "shutoff position", so when the relay gives the tooth lever a kick, it doesn't appear to be in the right place to do any good.
In this first picture shows the red relay arm in the shutoff position as is, and the second picture shows the Cam lifting wheel rotated another couple of degrees clockwise, showing where I would like the shutoff position to be, so that at the next start, the tooth-gears will all be aligned in the best position at which the relay kick can do the most good.
So, maybe I missed something in the service manual, does anyone know how to solve this?

If the camwheel was in this position at shutoff, it would start up perfectly the next time.
