Hi everyonefinally after many years I managed to buy a pair of Beolab 8000 speakers, they will have to be restored, but overall almost everything works, but I think there is a problem, when the switch is on the phono position, with no cable connected to the speaker it does not go into stand-by, the right speaker the green light is always on, on the left the green light turns red for a second and immediately returns green. if I put the switch on the power link position after a few seconds both speakers turn off.Do you have any advice to give me since I can only use them with a phono input?thank you for your helpMizmau
That’s normal. When used with the rca socket, you should a good shielded cable attached to a source. Just setting the switch to Line without a cable causes this behaviour. Just use it as it supposed to be used.
thank you very much Beobuddy , I didn't know about this detail, I had to buy from Sound Heavenly , an Attenuated Converter I will also add a quality cable.I'll let you knowagain thank you very muchMizmau
