SD card readers in Beosound 2 & Besound 4 and Automatic bass level correction in Beolab 5.

Automatic brightness adjustment in TV sets - genius! Now copied by almost every manufacturer.

SD card reading audio players have only been recently explored by the audiophile circle.

As bad as I thought the Beosound 2 was in terms of functionality. They should not have removed the product IMHO. I miss my old Beosound 2 actually I don't even know where it is now plus they really should have sold the LV leather pouches in store. The Beosound 2 isn't so much different from a high end version of the Ipod shuffle. I will like to have a choice of higher end B&O headphone options please along with full file compatibility.

Automatic bass level correction machines are only now gaining momentum in hifi.

Why no automatic bass correction used in the sound processors  of B&O TVs? B&O is practically a pioneer in that technology. I remember way back when that Tag Mclaren Audio ( a luxury lifestyle brand known wildly for over-performing separate systems but now defunct sadly) had to borrow that technology from B&O for their cutting edge AV processor. A little odd...

PS. Not surprised that Tag McLaren sold off their audio division because of their failure to penetrate the US market. The products in the range were way too avantgarde and funky looking for conservative Americans to accept. Extremely ahead of its time performance and technologically but ..... Maybe B&O can learn a thing or two about their successes and mistakes. B&O is definitely playful in their design but not too much so.
