Hi,
I've replaced the lid on my Beogram 1100 following the manual; however, I can't figure out what you are meant to do with the ends of the lid spring which actually connect to the lid.
As I found in this thread for the Beogram 1102 (http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/2616/22429.aspx#22429)
"The spring is one length of spring wire with an upturn at each end to engage with the lid. The centre of the spring has a three sided box bent downwards which sits in a 'friction piece and holder'.
There are two small square plates on the back with a screw in each one at each end and one round one in the middle. The middle one is where the friction piece is. "
I've reassemble everything but my issue is that I'm not sure how the upturned ends engage with lid. A description or photo of this would help immensely.
Thanks
Dan
