Hello!
My question will be a bit strange, that's why I ask it on the workbench, maybe it's hardware-related.
As a proud owner of a 28" Mk1 50Hz Avant i managed to make a home system, with an Ouverture and two Beolab 8000 speakers. 8000s are connected to Avant PowerLink connectors.
If I listen to a CD, or my computer through Camcord (3x aux), i get a funny feeling about the sound.
In Speaker 1 mode when only Avant speakers are used sound is OK.
In Speaker 2 mode when BL8000s are used sound is OK.
In Speaker 3 mode, when Avant and 8000s are both used, Avant speakers sound more high, and 8000s seem to deliver the lower parts of the frequency. I also noticed some sustain and vibration feeling on 8000s.
PowerLink cables are from BO dealer(one end factory plug, one end normal din), sound panning is correctly set with switches on 8000s (does it matter wich PL front connector on avant i plug them in? ).
Speaker type is Type-A, set to front.
Or is it part of engineering to make the sound more vivid and powerful?
Looking forward to your answer!
