Hello all. Ive searched the forums and I havent found a list of possible causes for this issue. I just recently purchased a set of beolab 1's. I tested them at the sellers home and they were fine. I brought them home (200klms away) and the right one will not "hold" a green light, infact it only stays green for 1 second (some forum posts say theres holds a green light for 3 seconds, mine is much shorter than that)
I've swapped cables, tried powerlink and line in. Ive opened the speaker and checked the main power supply fuse and its fine.
Some people say the tweeter can blow and cause this issue? I'll swap the tweeter from the good speaker next but before I open the good speaker up Is there a way to test why its not holding a green light? I have a basic electronics knowledge and a good multi-meter :)
Thanks

Just a quick update, Ive replaced the good speakers tweeter with the bad speakers tweeter and the problem still exists. So I guess its not the tweeter that has caused the red light to stay on.
No ideas? Well ive tried swapping the amplifier from the good speaker to the bad, and the problem moves with the amplifier. So that rules out any shorts with the speaker cones themselves. Now is it the amplifier or the powersupply that has the issue? Any ideas how I test this? maybe switch the "good" power supply to the dead speaker?
