hello,
a recent purchase of a bv7-40 has completed my b&o home system, but introduced an un-imagined side-effect. my set-up includes b7-40, bc1, bc6-23, bl3500, beolink passive, and beoport.
before the arrival of the bv7-40, my bc1 played the role of audiomaster and i used bm-link on a mac mini to distribute music from itunes. this is no longer possible.
i am currently using linkplayer 2 to play the role of audiomaster. however, development is at a standstill and linkplayer 2 seems to be having problems with os 10.8. one day or another it (or my mac mini) will stop working.
i am looking for a simple solution to add an audiomaster back into my set-up. is the beosound 3000 my best option, or will one of the new products better fill this role ?
thanks for your ideas !
- scott
Hi Scott Newman,
you could continue using the BC1 as master - and setup the BV7 as link-tv.
Greetings Millemissen
There is a tv - and there is a BV
ah,
i hadn't thought about that. i would have to add a module for the bc1 to distribute video.
unfortunately, the bc1 is now in the wrong place (it moved to bedroom). the goal was to watch separate tv in bedroom vs kitchen/living room.
now, if i could get a third stb, i wouldn't need to distribute video ...
thanks for your input, i'll keep it in mind.
