Hello Bo community!

Someone gave me a Beogram 4000 several years ago with some issues, maybe someone could help to see where to start.

The east and west arrows work (slow and fast motion), so does the speed selection. The south and north ones don't. That means that the solenoid does not lower the arm, and that the carriage does not cross the platter to scan a record.

Yet if I force manually the solenoid to get the low position the arm reacts as it should to the parallelism changes and make the motor react normally.

The contacts/switches of the board have been carefully cleaned.
