Hello fellow Beoworlders,

Long time no seen (not forgotten though) Wink

May you all have good or, at least decent new year and may your B&O's live up to your expectations or above, mine left BC8500, BC2200, S45's, S3702's (completely restored), Avant and DVD1 (untouched) are going strong ....

we also have new addition to the family, she's called Snowball and enjoys to watch programs on Avant and listen to music produced by BC8500 - I've tried to find her owners, but did not succeeded...

Bob

A good question!!

I clocked 50 over the Christmas periodCake (but didn't appear to be speeding and so got away scot-free), I'm still employed, my kids seem to have grown into reasonably well adjusted young adultsLeft HugRight Hug, my wife still speaks to me (occasionally), it looks like my team will cling on for another year in the top flightLets have a Party !!!, David Bowie is just about to release a seemingly universally acclaimed new albumSurprise, McEwans Export is on offer at my local supermarketBeer, I can still remember everyone's name and my weight is heading downward (albeit slowly)Yes - thumbs up. Oh, and did I mention, I'm  off on holiday next month!Cool

Don't get too overawed with the weight thing. On my recent medical, the doc told me the good news is that I has lost a 1 KG since last year, but the bad news is that I still had 33 more years to go until normality is attained!

Life is for living and everyone is your friend (until proven otherwise)!Smile

Losing weight means I can regress through my fashion faux-pas and embarrass my kids even more - now that's an incentive!!

Good to see you back Bob!

Beoworld has become a little more aggressive with argumentative contributions from people who have probably never owned B&O.

I haven't lost any weight.

hmm, that I'm stealing Smile

I go by the US DHS way: everyone is guilty unless proven otherwise Wink, but share your enthusiasm about embarrassing kids, cannot wait to become real burden to them ....

Y'all keep "trucking" or whatever that is...

Hi Bob,

I have tried emailing you again but still get 'address unknown'.  I have sent you a PM instead!

Where's Pablo by the way and what does he think of your new arrival?

Hello Cleve,

Pablo Sad unfortunately had to stay within his perimeter and is part of "custody" hearing Smile still going nowhere...

We haven't seen him since (I was to Exeter and Broadclyst just once at the beginning of January and haven't seen him than) Sad

Not long after our arrival, we've adopted this one (find on door step, poorly cold, wet and exhausted - Snowball suits her, but she refuse to react to that). I be going this month to Exeter - have some work to do there and may pay you visit while at it.

meanwhile don't let the (what I hear) hostility here, spoil your enjoyment...

all the best
