Hello Fellow beoworlder's,
I am replacing my old beocenter one after the contrast screen was smashed while we were moving house. I couldn't find a replacement contrast screen so i picked up another one beocenter one.
Since i haven't powered it up yet can anyone tell me what year this was manufactured and more importantly whether it has the phillips DVD player or the pioneer player. (My previous BC1 had phillips and it was cac) so i am hoping someone can give me some good news and tell me this one will have the pioneer one.
here's the info:
type no. 8523
item no. 1827992
acc: STB ML (Does this mean it has a STB integrated or am i going to have to connect it to one?)
kind regards,
Sibtain
Hi Sibtain
The BeoCentre1 type number 8523 was launched in the uk in 2002 and last available in October 2004. To find out the date it was shipped from the factory requires the 8 digit serial number.
I don't know which version of DVD mechanism was fitted to this version.
Regards
Opman
serial number :17471616
last digit may be either 6 or 8...
thanks
I just found this online:
The serial number 17471616 was shipped to the dealer in November 2003.
