Hi all,
I really need some help with my system...
I have a beosound 3200 which I have connected a playmaker to via the aux socket.
the playmaker has a solid white light, and I can see it on my network, and on my iPad, where I store the songs I am trying to stream.
my issue is, when I click the button to change the sound from iPad to playmaker.... nothing happens...
l've been onto my broadband supplier, and I've 'opened' the ports and set up port forwarding for 2 ports which B&O gave me that the playmaker uses...I've also put the correct IP address in the 'superhub' settings.
if the playmaker is solid white... it's connected to the network.
if I can see the playmaker option on my computer/iPad/iPhone then the network and other devices can see it.
so why isn't it working!?!?
I've checked all plugs, volumes, connections etc... the beosound works fine, the network is OK, the broadband is working....
Can anyone help me with this!?!?!?!? please!!!!! lol
thanks for the reply...
I know I'm going to sound daft here... but....
I press A MEM on the remote... I get a green flash on the playmaker...
press list until A setup shows... I don't get that... I have: mots, random, record, speaker, stand,v.aux
so I'm falling at the first hurdle!
:-(
There is different software versions of the Beo4
Also options can be hiddenon the remote, check adding/removing buttons section in guide below

If you switch the BS3200 into AUX mode without using the remote and the Beoplay is on you should hear something
If you have an old remote that doesnt have A-MEM there sould be a substitute for it, A-TAPE

thanks... by the looks of that link, I have the type 1710 remote control...
i'll have a look through it....
and to think this was all billed as 'really easy!'
lol
Maybe try the following to trace the problem:
1- connect your beolabs (assuming you have these connected to the 3200) direct to the PM to see if you get any sound.
2-connect another sound source (ipod, cd player, depending on what cable you can get your hands on...) tothe aux input of the 3200 to find out that that is working.
I love you all!!!!
now working!
I plugged 1 speaker into the playmaker and it worked... I then saw that I had connected to device to the hi-fi via the network port, so switched it to a speaker port...
sorry for being a complete muppet!!!!!!!
You're welcome
Enjoy.
