Hi,

Does anyone know if a remote for the Beocenter 7000 (as here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221213210276?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649) would work with it's little brother, the Beocenter 5000?

Thanks

Beocenter 5000 has no remote control support so the short answer, I'm afraid, will be no.

It does have what looks like a remote / ir receptor on the front,  next to the headphone socket..?

It uses the same chassis as the 7000 so has the blank on the front. The BM2300 has what looked like a remote sensor as well but was because it used the 2400 base. Also had a 7 pin socket for the record player but no link wiring!
