Hi,

I am using B&O digital cable between My Beosound 5 (Beomaster 5) and My Beolab 5. It is à very thin cable if you compare it with fine High-end digital cables (S/PDIF). Is it worth to upgrade this cable to à more expansiv one?

Regards

Martin

With analog cables you can sometimes make the assertion that thicker, better insulated cables will provide better results in video and audio. However, when speaking of a cable that transmits signals in the digital domain, so long as the cable has not been damaged in any way, there is no real improvement in spending more for a "bigger" cable. The 1s and 0s are still getting there just the same in the thin cable as the thick one. The cable you are using is fine.
